Overlayer NFTs
Overlayer NFTs are on-chain participation assets connected to community access, campaign progression, identity, and ecosystem recognition. They are not all designed for the same purpose. Some NFTs are used as access credentials, some recognize participation in specific phases, and others may represent higher-level community status, achievements, or future ecosystem eligibility.
The NFT system is designed to make participation more visible, portable, and composable across Overlayer’s community and product layers.
Over time, NFTs may be used for:
- Gated campaign access
- Community roles
- Testnet participation
- Season-based recognition
- Point-threshold achievements
- Partner campaigns
- Special perks
- Future eligibility checks
- Ecosystem identity
Holding an Overlayer NFT does not automatically guarantee rewards, token allocations, financial rights, or access to future benefits unless explicitly stated in the specific NFT page or official campaign rules. Each NFT should be evaluated based on its own properties, eligibility criteria, transferability, and utility.
The Early User NFT
The Early User NFT is the access credential for Phase 0: Origin. It is designed for users who join the Overlayer community early, complete the required access path, and become eligible to test the Overlayer dApp on Ethereum Sepolia.
The Early User NFT is not a collectible-first asset. Its primary role is functional: it gives access to the gated testnet experience and marks the wallet as an early participant in the Origin phase.

How to Become Eligible
To become eligible for the Early User NFT, users must complete the required access flow for Phase 0: ORIGIN. The expected flow is:
- Join the Overlayer community.
- Follow the official project channels.
- Complete the required Galxe or dApp tasks.
- Connect the eligible wallet.
- Mint the Early User NFT once eligible.
The exact task list may change during the campaign and should always be checked through the official Galxe and Overlayer campaign pages.
Utility and Use Cases
The Early User NFT may be used for:
- Gated access to the testnet dApp
- Early user identification
- Campaign participation tracking
- Discord or community role assignment
- Future eligibility checks
- Possible OG NFT eligibility signals
Holding the Early User NFT may increase the possibility of qualifying for future recognition, including the OG NFT, but it does not guarantee receiving it.
Transferability: The Early User NFT is non-transferable. It is permanently tied to the wallet that minted it and is intended to represent direct early participation, not secondary market activity.
