Bridge moves an overlaid asset across supported chains.

Overlayer is designed so that overlaid assets and their staked representations can be extended across chains for scalability and distribution, while core state-changing operations such as mint, redeem, stake, and unstake remain anchored to the primary settlement environment of each deployment rather than being abstracted into a fully chain-agnostic control layer. This keeps the transport layer separate from the accounting layer and reduces unnecessary cross-chain complexity.

### What bridge does

Cross-chain transfers are executed as atomic burn-and-mint operations coordinated through a messaging layer, preserving unified supply and avoiding fragmented copies. The bridge layer does not embed yield logic and does not alter staking or accounting semantics.

Bridge does **not**:

* Create yield
* Change staking logic
* Modify backing rules
* Create independent supply

### How to bridge

1. Open the **Swap/Bridge** section from the side menu.
2. Set **Bridge** on the widget.
3. Choose the source chain.
4. Select the asset you want to transfer.
5. Enter the amount.
6. Choose the destination chain.
7. Review route, route availability, and destination details.
8. If this is your first time, click **Approve** and confirm the approval in your wallet.
9. Click **Bridge** and confirm the transaction.

### Cost and limits

Bridge transfers are handled through the integrated LayerZero route and may involve variable costs.
