# Season Overview

> VISION is Overlayer's first mainnet Farming Season on Ethereum, Base and Robinhood Chain: earn points from Farming deposits and share an OVER reward pool.

**VISION** is Overlayer's first mainnet Farming Season. Participants earn points by depositing eligible assets and contributing to the ecosystem. Those points determine their share of an OVER reward pool that grows with participation across the protocol.

The season is designed to run for approximately six months across **Ethereum, Base and Robinhood Chain**.

## How to participate

To generate points from capital, deposit an eligible Overlaid Asset, Staked Overlaid Asset or supported liquidity position into the **Farming** section of the dApp. Different position types have different point rates.

**Minting or staking alone does not enroll your assets in Farming.** For example, holding sT+ in your wallet participates in staking yield, but a separate Farming deposit is required to produce points from that position:

**USDT → Mint + Stake → sT+ → Farming deposit**

## Earn points and apply boosts

**Base Staking Points (BSP)** accrue according to the amount deposited, the position's point rate and the time it remains in Farming. Withdrawing capital stops future point production on that amount; points already generated are retained.

Eligible NFT, referral and team boosts increase BSP production. Their percentages add together rather than multiplying one another. **Additional Points**, such as referral rewards or selected ecosystem contributions, are recorded separately and are not increased by boosts.

## How the reward pool grows

VISION's **Reward Pool ranges from 1% to 10% of the total OVER supply**. The final percentage depends on **Season Average TVL**: the average global outstanding supply of Overlaid Assets over the full season, valued nominally at $1 per unit.

This is a protocol-wide measure, not simply the amount deposited in Farming. Higher Season Average TVL unlocks larger reward pools at defined milestones.

Of the final Reward Pool, **95% is distributed proportionally to participants' Total Scores**, while **5% funds individual and team leaderboard prizes**. Your Final Allocation combines your score-based share with any prizes earned.

Points therefore do not have a fixed conversion rate into OVER: the outcome depends on the final pool, relative scores and applicable prizes.

## Yield and points are separate

VISION points are an incentive system, not staking yield. An eligible Staked Overlaid Asset deposited in Farming can continue participating in its normal yield while also producing points. Depositing a base Overlaid Asset does not turn it into a yield-participating staked asset.

During VISION, the protocol applies a **50% performance fee on generated yield**, entirely allocated to the Foundation. This fee applies to yield, not to the deposited principal.

## Across chains and after the season

Positions, point balances, teams and referrals are maintained separately on each participating chain. Activity on one chain does not automatically create the same position or membership on another.

After leaderboard prizes are calculated, allocations belonging to the same wallet address are consolidated on **Ethereum**, where the final selection, vesting and token claims take place.

Receiving an allocation does not mean the entire amount becomes immediately claimable. The **Claim Game** offers a choice between **Fast Claim**, which gives earlier access to part of the allocation, and **Long-Term Vesting**, which preserves the original allocation and includes applicable redistribution.
